After 5 years of hard work, Dave graduated from BYU’s Masters of Accounting program with a degree in Professional Accountancy. Not only did he graduate with both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, but he also graduated Magnum Cum Laude. And, even better, he also has an excellent job lined up that he’ll start in the Fall. Needless to say, I’m pretty proud of him! Dave and I have been competing/ betting for the last year to see if Dave could graduate with a higher GPA than I did and he did it! Way to go Dave.
On Thursday, April 21st was BYU’s commencement ceremony. It was actually really good. I always had an idea in my mind that graduation was boring which was one of the reasons I did not attend my own graduation (in addition to BYU not having a December graduation). I am pleased to say that it was definitely better than I expected. Elder Richard G Scott spoke and gave the graduates some great advice. Here is a picture of us at the ceremony.
Here are some pictures in the Morris family graduation photo spot.
Who can figure out what’s missing from this picture?
Here’s some of Dave in the Tanner Building where he spent a lot of time.
On Thursday night, both of our families got together and had a BBQ to celebrate Dave and all of his hard work.

it took me a minute...but is it the tassle he's missing? Congrats DAve! Sorry I couldn't attend the festivities. And just so you don't get too cocky, your GPA may be higher than Liz's, but you still didn't beat me ;)
Congrats Dave! Wish we could have been there! Thanks for posting about it Liz. I like the picture at the end with everyone and is it Bennett that your sister is holding? I think it must be with his classic open-mouth smile!
